HOW IT WORKS
All of us at TTR are either casting directors and/or directors, with 25 + years of experience working with actors in casting sessions, both on film and in theatre.
This is what makes us unique - we give you our professional direction and coach you through your self-tape audition. If you would rather not be given direction or coaching, please let us know when you book the session (this does not change the session rate).

ONLINE TAPING
We will send you a Zoom link one day before your appointed time. Please confirm upon receipt and be sure Zoom is installed on your recording device.
Test your sound, lighting, hair and makeup prior to the start of your session.
What you need:
-
A smart phone, iPad, tablet or computer with recording capability.
-
A tripod for your smartphone (or a music stand works well to prop up your iPad, tablet or computer).
Tape Room Tips:
-
The height of the ‘camera lens’ and ‘the reader’ should be eye level; not lower or higher.
-
Frame yourself from just below the chest and up (we suggest you look at a sample of our tapings for the perfect frame).
IN-PERSON TAPING
The Tape Room studio is equipped with state of the art camera, lighting, and sound equipment.

We have our "Last Looks" room just off the Taping Area where you can powder your nose or touch up your hair. We even have a few basic supplies available to help with fly-aways and shiny foreheads. (Just remember, this counts as part of your appointment time!)
